Parenting skills

Sometimes I wonder if I am doing the parenting thing right. And then I see things like this

and I feel much better.

Wagoon?

Eli got to go to Lagoon for his very first time. He was so excited that he didn't know how to express his happiness.

Look at his face in all of these pictures

This was the closest we got to a smile

He didn't crack a smile the entire time we were there, but after every ride he went on he would say, " Again?" and try and run into the front of the line. It was so much fun watching him ride all the rides that I WENT ON as a child

Man oh man

So I had to put Eli into "thinking time" for not listening to me.


I put him in his room and shut the door.... He immediately starts crying and hitting the door.



(this means that he is learning his lesson)


I go and quickly take out the garbage and come back to his door and listen to see if he had stopped crying


He wasn't making a peep so I opened the door ..... To him doing this........

( gasp!

Well at least he helped me clean it up.

It is a good thing that he is super cute or he would be in REALLY big trouble!

So why is it when you give your child a bath, put them in a cute outfit that this happens

Eli was in one of his handsome outfits yesterday, and I was thinking about how cute he looked. We were walking out to the car and

SPLAT!

he fell face first into a big pile of mud

ughhh

I think I am just going to put my kids in the rag clothes all the time
