Dum Da Da Dummmm!!!!!

Well Paige hit a mile stone that we were all looking forward to. She slept the entire night last night! I know that to those who don't have kids it is no biggie, but to us all we can say is YES!!!!!!!! I got the first night of sleep that I actually woke up feeling refreshed and ready for the day. Now the biggest challenge now is making sure she keeps on doing it!

I've got cabin fever!!!

This weekend we were able to go to Jon's families cabin. It was the first time that we were able to go with both of the kids. Eli LOVED it! He had all of his little cousins up there to play with. He was playing non stop the whole time. Paige did better than I expected her to. Today was kind of a bummer for everyone because it started to rain. We had fun playing inside though. This is just one of the many times we will go this year so be prepared for more posts!

Happy Mothers Day ( Belated)

Today was a fun time for us because my mom and Ken came down and we took them out for lunch for Mothers Day. We also went bowling and I had a confirmation that I suck at it. My mom won the first game and Jon won the second game... Way to go babe! I am glad that we were able to spend the day together.

I think the best part about it was Eli was having so much fun there. He was checking out every nook and cranny there was. I think the only thing that we will have to change is the doorbell because when we tried it out it freaked Eli out. He went crying for Jon. I felt bad because I thought it was the funniest thing ever... Don't worry, I apologized for laughing.

My dad got hitched

So I have a bigger family now! My dad got married on Saturday to a wonderful woman named Robbin. We love her so much. I now have 2 step sisters and 1 step brother. They are a wonderful family and I am so glad that my dad found someone that we all love. The wedding was beautiful. We couldn't have asked for better weather. Way to go dad on scoring big.

Ahhhhhh!!!!!!

So Eli decided that he wanted some cereal and he couldn't wait for me to help him. I was cleaning the house when I heard him doing something in the living room. He had grabbed a bowl and taken the HUGE cereal bag and dumped it all over the floor.I couldn't get mad at him because he was so proud of himself for doing it all by himself. He did help me clean it up, but I had to take pictures of it first.

We are going to be home owners!

So I just got a phone call from Jon that said if we can close the deal by the end of the month we will own a home!!!! It is in Salt Lake... yes people like to refer it to the "ghetto" part of town, but do not worry we have done our homework on the area and have even met the neighbors. I am way excited to finally have a place to call our own. I appreciate my mom letting us rent her house while we got everything in order to purchase a home. I can't wait for all of you to see it!

My how she has grown

I took Paige in for her two monthcheck up and she is now 7 pounds even. I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but for her it is really good. I am tickled pink with how cute she is. She smiles a lot like Eli now. I love her and Eli. They make being a mom great!

Way to go Jon

So last night Jon and I got to go to the Grand America for his works recognition presentation. It was so nice. The food was delicious... except for the fish which Jon was nice enough to get rid of for me. Jon was invited to go to this party because of his hard work at L-3. I had no idea what goes into his job because he can't really talk about it, but all I know is that they were really proud of his work and they couldn't of done it with out him. I for one am so proud of his accomplishments. Keep going babe! You rock!

Blonde Ambition

Si I did it... I went blonde and might i say that it looks totally different! I have been wanting to go blonde for a long time but never went through with it. Finally I told Jon that I am just going to do it. I don't think it looks to terribly bad, but it is going to be something I need to get used to. It is a little gold but my lady said that next time we should be able to fix that. I think it is pretty cute myself, but I have always been one for funky hair do's ( Karlie you know what I am talking about.) Let me know what you guys think!

I LOVE MY CEREAL!!!!

So Eli has this obsession with his cereal. He will walk over to the cupboard and pull out the cereal he wants and he doesn't want it in a bowl like a normal person would he wants to carry it around and grab it out for himself. He then thinks at any moment I am going to take it away so he stuffs his mouth full so he can't even close it. I think he was a chipmunk in his former life with how much food he can store in his cheeks. He cracks me up!

Paige's Blessing

Today was a very special day for Paige. She was blessed in church by my dad and a lot of people came to support her. It was such a beautiful blessing. We then had everyone over to our house for lunch. It was nice to see everyone and have them hold Paige and get to know her better. She is growing so fast and I am loving every minute of it. I hope she will know how much we love her and care for her.

Game Night

My mom came down yesterday and had a great idea to have a game night with those who could make it.We had dinner when we got there and then played Catch Phrase and Uno Attack...( I won twice might I add). It was a very enjoyable time and thanks Tiffany for letting us come over!

So Brett is just upset because I rule aaat Uno!!! JK
