For those of you that have kids.....

..... Do you ever feel like you are doing this with them????

I have been feeling a lot like this. Not being a Kangaroo, but boxing with my 2 year old.

What works, what doesn't. How do you discipline without losing it. Please if ANYONE can help please let me know what to do.

There must be something in the air-cause I'm having the same problems. She honestly battles me more than dad (I'm sure its because she has him wrapped around her finger.)

When you have your baby, they should tell you that your child boy or girl is being born with PMS!!!! it's not just a girl thing. I am sorry!! That picture is sooo funny though.

Hang in there Mandi - it's a life long process! There's no ONE answer, it's trial and error (and lots of errors). I love the picture (where did you find it?)

Mike says Jeffrey walks all over me, I don't think so, Mike isn't home all day to see what I have to put up with.
I am learning a lot about communication with your two year old with Jeffrey's schooling, and it has helped a ton with his behavior. Try communicating, talking quieter and more slowly, get down on his level, a ton of positive reinforcement(Good job Eli!, Thank you Eli! I Love you Eli!) Simply more QUALITY time with your boy. It is so hard!

I love that we are in the same boat! But we have found that consistency is the key with Audrie! The other day I saw a book at the library about how to handle your two year old.....I should find the title....I'm going to read it after i read the book about sleeping......she has a rough time with that! Anywho, I found that if I don't yell but am stern with her and don't give in then she will listen. Sometimes this requires letting her throw a tantrum in her room with the door shut before we can rationalize about and come up with a solution! We'll talk more at lunch!
