The Lot.... talk about a TON of FUN

So Jon's Grandpa, a long time ago, bought this piece of property up past Oakley and we got to go and hang out there for a couple of hours on Sunday. Eli had WAY to much fun. He was covered in dirt from head to toe. At least he wasn't alone. My cute nieces were right there with him. I can't wait to go up and spend more time up there and I will make sure to bring a lot more wipes to clean Eli off with.

So I know its a little late but today is his actual birthday.Jeffrey is 2! He had a birthday party on Saturday and Eli got to go. It was Eli's first time swimming in a pool.... I know I know he is a little old. Thanks Kar for having us over. Also I wanted to say Happy Anniversary Karlie and Mike! Today is there anniversary and I hope they have a wonderful time celebrating.

So Jon was getting ready for work this morning about 6 a.m. and doing everything as normal. He was going to leave when he noticed some strange thing under the table. Curious, he tip toed up to the table, crouched down and found Eli sleeping under it. We have no idea how long he was under there, but all I can say is that when he opened his tiny little eyes, he was sure confused about where he was.

... I don't know what that means but my grandpa always says it to Eli when he sees him. I just want to give a little hoorah to my little stud muffin Eli. He has been so cute with me lately. All I can say is whatever is makin him happy all take a ton of it! Today at soccer during our half it was so cute because as soon as I sat down on the grass he ran up to me and tackled me. Those are the moments that make being a mom special. I am not trying to be all gushy, but I am sure that is what ended up happening... my bad.

Shower Power!

So my sister and I threw a baby shower for my sister in law who is due at the end of July. It was a blast! I can't wait for her baby to come to find out what she is naming her.... It is a surprise. Good luck Kelly with everything and when the time comes you better be calling me so I can run you to the hospital!

Playing catch up

So Jon and I a Long time ago went to Mesquite and had a blast! It was so nice to just be with him and be able to relax and best of all SLEEP! We went to Vegas for a day and then spent the rest of the time in Mesquite. We are not big gamblers so we went bowling and played in the arcade. It was a blast and I can't wait to do it again.... Jon this is a hint if you didn't pick up on it.

Almost there....

So I am so EXCITED because my house is almost complete. Jon and I have been working our BUTTS off trying to get it completed and it is actually coming together. I have had one heck of a BIRTHDAY WEEK. Dealing with Eli and Paige going to the Doctor, me getting a SINUS INFECTION, and Jon getting FOOD POISONING, you could say we have had it all. WE have stuck it through and are reaping the rewards. Thanks again to all that helped with the house. We wouldn't have been able to finish so fast if it weren't for YOU!

Things I take for granted

Today being Fathers Day I think I would like to share a lot of thing that I think are important to me but have never expressed it. I have looked at life and always thought that I should be able to have a little bit more money or go out and buy whatever I wanted... unfortunately that is not the way it works. So then I sometimes will pout and complain about not having the perfect life. Well I was wrong. I HAVE the perfect life that was meant for me. These are the things that I took for granted that I realized not everyone has.

• My loving husband who has been there through thick and thin
• My beautiful kids who make every day an adventure
• A house that is OURS!
• A running car that gets us where we need to go
• An amazing mom,dad and siblings. People would die to have a family like ours even with our flaws
• An incredible mother in law. I look up to her in so many ways
• Running water. Even if it hot or cold
• A phone. I don't know how we lived without these.
• A whole closet full of clothes. I know people would be satisfied with half of what I have.
• Shoes on my feet.
• A running toilet... could you imagine not having one.... ewww.
• Last but not least a Father in Heaven who watches out for all of us. I know I don't go to church, but I know that he still loves me and will watch over me and my family.

I think everyone should try to stop looking at what they don't have and start looking at what they do. You will find life a lot more fulfilling if you do.

I'm Baaaaack

We made it back and have almost finished moving in. I am LOVING our new home and am enjoying decorating it. I am in the process of setting up our internet so I will be able to go into our vacation later. All is well and I will update you as things progress with our house. I want to say THANK YOU to those who helped move us. We couldn't have done it with out you. I also wanted to give my THANKS to my mother in law, sister and sister in law for watching our kids while we went on vacation. You don't know how much it means to me to be able to leave my kids with someone and not worry. Thanks again and I owe you guys BIG TIME!

We're officially BROKE!

Well we did it... we bought our home. Can we say STRESSFUL! Jon and I are super excited and can't wait to move in. I am planning to be moved in by the weekend because Jon and I are going on a much needed vacation on Sunday. ( I know I know... we timed it all wrong.) I have almost everything already packed all I need now are some big Muscular guys to come and move all the big stuff for us.

About our vacation, we are going to HAWAII for the next week to soak in the sun.... I wish.... we are actually going to Mesquite for a few days to get reconnected. After having kids it is hard to find time for each other so this will be a nice trip to talk to Jon and relax. Most likely we are going to SLEEP the entire time. It will still be a blast no matter what we do.

Soccer Madness

Today I finished up my spring soccer league and we left on a good note. We tied the game 2-2. My teammates totally rocked. I mostly ran around acting like I knew what I was doing.lol. No I have always enjoyed playing soccer and I can't wait to start the summer league!



I also think I need to give a shout out to all our husbands who came and babysat our kids while we all were playing. It was so cute to have Jon there cheering me on while chasing Eli at the same time!

Hellloooo Edward!

So those who have not read the Twilight series this is a blog for you! You HAVE to read them ( mom and Tiffany I am talking to you!)! They are coming out with a movie in December and this is a picture of who is playing Edward. Can you say Oh yeah baby!( .... I love you Jon!) I can't wait to see it. My sister and I are going to see it the day it comes out and we want as many girls who want to see it to come with us. So if you are into Twilight, mark on your calendars that on December 12, 2008 you are going to experience Twilight, the movie!

I HATE ALLERGIES

So I can't stand it anymore! My eyes are swollen and watering. my nose is all plugged up, stuffy and bleeding, and my throat is itching nonstop. I hate allergies so much that I am ready to go on a vacation to Antarctica where there is absolutely no pollen in the air. I need to know some sort of medication that I can take that doesn't make me drowsy. If anyone knows a good drug PLEASE tell me. The allergy medicine that I am taking right now doesn't work and it is making me so sleepy.So I am calling out an S.O.S to everyone who has a solution.

Grandma's 80 years young!

Well my Grandma Lindow had her 80th birthday on Saturday. All of us got together to celebrate with her. My cousins and my Aunts and Uncles were all there also. My grandmother is special to me because she has such a sweet spirit about her. She will always try to make new friends even in the check out lines at grocery stores. I love her so much and I am proud to say that I am her granddaughter. I hope there are many more birthdays to come with her!
